Will God Find You Faithful? Showing Your Faithfulness.

How does God want each of us to show we are faithful?

Faithful in attendance.

Hebrews 10:25 “Not staying away from our meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

Sunday mornings can be hard. Sometimes, it feels so good to stay in that nice, warm, comfortable bed.

We miss so much when we miss worship. Our daily life can drain us of joy. Worship and fellowship with other believers can fill your life.

Faithful in Bible Study.

2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.”

Are you part of a Bible study? Do you have daily devotional time? Do you just spent time in the word?

It is so very important to know what God has just say. We can only know that by studying His word. God’s word can help us find answers to any problems or questions we may have.

Will God Find You Faithful? Showing Your Faithfulness.

Faithful in prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”

How was your prayer life? Prayer is tied to your relationship with God. When you know who you are and who God is, you will have a deeper understanding of the power of prayer.

God answers prayer. He hears you. He listens to you. God uses prayer to gain a deeper relationship with us. God loves each one of us and he wants what’s best for us.

Faithful in our moral lives.

2 Timothy 2:19-22 “Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription: The Lord knows those who are His, and everyone who names the name of the Lord must turn from unrighteousness. Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver bowls, but also those of wood and earthenware, some for special use, some for ordinary. So if anyone purifies himself from these things, he will be a special instrument, set apart, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.”

Have you heard the saying, you may be the only Bible someone may read? We need to remember that people are watching everything we do. Do you act one way on Sunday mornings and another way in your daily life?

When we profess to be a follower of Christ, our actions and our words should reflect Christ living in us.

Faithful in serving others.

James 2:14-18 “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith, but does not have works? Can his faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it? In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works.

Use your God given talents!  God has blessed each one of us with the talent. Maybe you love to cook, you can cook for Picnic in the Park or perhaps for someone who is ill. Are you a prayer warrior? Pray for others, encourage people!

There are services that you can volunteer to do! God uses His Church, many times, to meet needs in His name.

Faithful in sharing the gospel.

Matthew 28:19-20 “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We need to tell the world what God has done in our lives. We all have the testimony. God has touched each one of our lives and changed us. Tell someone what God has done for you.

These are but a few things that we can do to show our faithfulness. So tell me, will God find you faithful?
